Project overview

Indy Street Sweep is a citywide Day of Caring presented by Citizens 7, rallying 777 volunteers across 20-30 locations to clean up Indianapolis on July 7, 2026. We were brought on to build the brand from scratch and develop the website at indystreetsweep.com, creating a seamless volunteer sign-up experience with an interactive heat map tracking real-time participation across the city.

Creative challenges

The event had no existing branding, no website, and needed a way to recruit, organize, and assign 777 volunteers across 20-30 rally points throughout Indianapolis. The platform needed to be simple enough for anyone to sign up while giving organizers real-time visibility into where volunteers were needed most.

We designed the brand identity and built a single-page landing site focused entirely on conversion. The site features an interactive heat map of Indianapolis that updates as volunteers sign up, color-coding rally points by capacity. A streamlined sign-up flow lets volunteers and site leaders choose their location, register their group, and receive automated confirmations. All data feeds directly into Google Sheets with Zapier-powered email workflows, keeping the backend lightweight and accessible for the admin team.

The Impact

Provided Citizens 7 and its partners with a turnkey digital platform to recruit, organize, and mobilize hundreds of volunteers across Indianapolis.

The website became the central hub for the entire event, handling volunteer registration, location assignment, and real-time progress tracking toward the 777 volunteer goal. The heat map created momentum by showing the city lighting up as people committed to serve.
